TED Video

    This video was very interesting. It talked a lot about identity and who you are. You could be a teacher but becoming a good teacher could depend on if your compassionate or not. Brian Simmons the speaker then went on and talked about his own family and identity. He talked about the "special" talk from his grandmother and how he has never taken a sip of alcohol and he's 52. He then goes into racsim and how black poeple have less rights than rich whies. His story about his case where he made a motion of a thirteen year old boy being charged like a seventy two year old rich white man really made me think. I really think he supported his statement about identity having power.
